Hong Kong

Colby had an opportunity to sign up for a Professional Development conference in Hong Kong, so we decided to make a long weekend out of it and explore one of the densest populated, and 3rd most expensive cities in the world. It was quite a trip! Food was good, streets were clean, and every square inch of space was put to use.

More street pics from a walk I took while Colby was in her conference

All the scaffolding in the city was made of bamboo. You would see piles of sticks piled in front of a construction side,  and they would put it together with simple rope knots.

Light Show of Hong Kong Island

Most of the tall buildings are light up with enormous signs, and they do a light show every night.

We took a hike and these are some pictures of the view Victoria Peak down into Victoria Harbor.

Not a lot of extra space down there!

A nice mosaic at the bird market

Part of the densest neighborhood in the world. We had to go.
