Happy New Year- Sawat Di Pi Mai
Year of the Goat

Over the past week has been a celebration of the new Chinese New Year- The Year of the Goat.  At school we had a school wide assembly with traditional Thai and Chinese dancing/music performed by the kids.

All dressed up for the New Year

My fortune for the year`

On Thursday the 19th it was New Years Day, so we got the day off of work.  Ryan and I headed down to Bangkok's China Town.  It was the 2nd biggest Chinese New Years Celebration coming behind( of course) China itself.  Dim Sum, Xiao Long Bao ( pork buns) and Dumplings were some food we enjoyed and it was fantastic!  After 4 hours it as getting more and more hot and more and more people.
