Bangkok is dissected by countless Khlong river-ways. They often smell awful, and are very polluted (raw sewage is said to be dumped sometimes in them from the shacks along side) but you could imagine before the development how they once looked. This one is on the side of the highway by our house. Took the picture while walking to the bus stop heading downtown on a chicken bus.
