Running in Khao Yai National Park.

This past weekend I ran in my first 10K race with some friends from school,  in Khao Yai National Park.  The park is about 2.5 hours NE of Bangkok so we headed there after school last Friday for the weekend.  We stayed a house that a parent offered to us, which was right close to the entrance of the park.

We had a full day to explore the park and the town around it.  So we jumped on scooters and headed up into the beautiful National Park.

On Sunday  we all got up at 4:00am to get ready for our race.  The route was a loop that we saw fields, temples, group workout sessions, an elephant and a sunrise.   It was a great race in a beautiful park.
